Who should attend the workshop:
This workshop is geared toward writers with intermediate or advanced skills already in the process of drafting or revising short stories, novellas, or novels. Participation will be limited to 16 (not including presenters) on a first-come, first-accepted basis. The sign-up window will open October 1st, 2024, so mark your calendars!

After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:
● Create an unforgettable first paragraph/page to include crucial characters and details in order to hook readers
● Create a satisfying story within a tight word constraint.
● Turn real experiences into literary gold by applying the expectations of literary fiction to a piece of writing.
● Tell a better story by adding tension to scenes.
● Enhance their scenes with palpable sensory details.
● Revise their story by deepening character development.
● Create a robust writing goals “To Do List” from workshop takeaways.
